First Aid
I have been involved in first aid and its associated activities for over 20 years. In 2021, I completed a course with Nuco to become a training provider and set up my own business. First Aid saves lives and that's why it is a subject I am passionate about teaching.
The achievement of a Certificate in Education and my experience in teaching, has given me a good understanding of how people learn. I adapt my delivery to meet the needs of all individuals and ensure the course content is communicated in a way that everyone understands. All courses provide practical, hands-on training to ensure you are well-equipped to respond to an emergency.
Following teaching and prior to setting up as a First Aid provider, I worked as a FireFighter. When delivering First Aid courses I am able to reap the benefits of this role transferring my skills and hands on experience.
Alongside the delivery of First Aid courses, I also work as Technical Advisor for Adventurous activities. Working and ‘playing’ in the outdoors is a passion of mine and again I am able to reap the benefits of my experience in this field, to provide invaluable Outdoor specific First Aid training.
Climbing Instructing
Gain the skills you need to climb safely and effectively. This course will focus on the equipment needed for climbing and how to use the equipment correctly.
You will develop the knowledge and necessary skills to climb safely.
This course is perfect for those with little or no previous experience or those looking to refresh their skills.
The course can be delivered at any indoor climbing facility and all equipment can be provided.

Technical Advice for Climbing Walls
This course will assist your progression to becoming an independent traditional lead climber.
The course will focus on: guide books and the grading system, decision making and gear placement, climbing techniques and lead belaying.
I would recommend that you are confident in Top Rope climbing before attending this course.
The venue and level of challenge can be suited to you and all equipment can be provided. Multi-pitch climbing can also be arranged.
